The search process at Sequoia is based on well defined procedures designed to ensure the successful completion of client assignments. The whole process is governed by the necessity to establish and develop effective communication at all times between the client, the Sequoia consultant and the candidates.
The search process includes:
- Agreement of Job Specification with the client
- Agreement of lines of communication between the Sequoia consultant and the client to include HR officials, line Management, COO’s etc.
- Investigation of Sequoia research database
- Extensive enquiries with market contacts
- Identification of matched candidates
- Candidate interviews by a Sequoia consultant
- Preparation of candidate short lists
- Arrangement of candidate interviews with clients
- Briefing candidates prior to client interviews
- Maintenance of communication links between client and candidates
- Advice to candidates on negotiation of compensation, terms of employment, acceptance of offer and the resignation process.
We appreciate that the whole search process can often involve several months work which usually taxes the patience and tenacity of all concerned. We try to ensure we maintain the trust and confidence of clients and candidates throughout this period.
