Retained Assignments
As search consultants we prefer to operate on a retained basis with our clients. The retainer structure can vary depending on the specific circumstances of each client. In general once appointed on a retained basis we request a commitment payment being a percentage of the anticipated final fee.
Contingency Assignments
We frequently work with major institutions on a contingency basis in strict accordance with formal Search Agreements which operate as a contract for the provision of services. We prefer to operate within well defined exclusivity clauses within these binding agreements.
Speculative Candidates
We have developed a wealth of high quality relationships with market professionals who maintain contact with us on a regular basis. Where such candidates express an interest in a career move we may (after prior consultation) refer such candidates to established clients on a "speculative" basis. In these cases fees are negotiable for successful placements.
